COPD Educator Institute

The American Lung Association is holding a virtual "COPD Educator Institute" on July 22 and July 29, 2020. This is a two-day training/workshop that is typically offered annually in person but will be available as an online conference for 2020.  

Specific attention in the course will be given to Disease Overview, COPD Diagnosis and Management, Smoking Cessation, Spirometry, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Oxygen Therapy, Patient Activation, Education and Adherence, Medications and Delivery Devices, Reducing COPD Readmissions, and End of Life Issues. This course targets healthcare professionals such as respiratory therapists, internal medicine nurses, pulmonary nurses, pharmacists, and care managers.

The registration fee is $300. Registration fee includes access to all course materials/handouts, continuing education credits, and shipping of placebo toolkits. Full payment must be received with your registration.
