Speakers
Lori Ranallo is a board certified, oncology nurse practitioner at the University of Kansas Cancer Center, where she has cared for women with breast cancer for over 30 years. She is passionate about survivorship care issues and providing thorough screening, accurate diagnosis and appropriate education and referrals to her patients. She is certified in Clinical Breast Care, Genetic Risk Counseling, Lymphedema Management, Tobacco Cessation Management and End of Life Care. She is a recipient of the 2022 Magnet Nurse of the Year, 2015 Ingram's Heroes in Healthcare Award, 2011 Hematology/Oncology Nurse of the Year Excellence Award and the recipient of the 1992 E. Jean M. Hill outstanding clinical BSN student award. She is the past chair of and board member of the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) National Certified Breast Care Nurse Test Development Committee (2012-2019). She is the past Kansas State Lead Ambassador for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (2020-2022) and the past Kansas Legislative Liaison for the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (2019 – 2022) and is very active at both the state and national levels advocating for people with cancer. She served as the President of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (2022). She is a core faculty member for the University of Kansas School of Nursing where she provides an oncology rotation for selected Doctor of Nursing Students.
Leigha Senter is a licensed genetic counselor and Professor at The Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute where she specializes in cancer genetics risk assessment. Ms. Senter has more than 20 years of research experience in hereditary cancers with a primary focus in BRCA gene-related projects with more than 100 peer reviewed publications. She is a member of the advisory board for FORCE, an advocacy group for patients with hereditary cancers. She’s a past member of the board of directors of National Society of Genetic Counselors, currently services on the Board of Trustees for the Association of Cancer Care Centers and is currently the Interim Director of the Division of Human Genetics.

Owner and Family Nurse Practitioner, Wright & Associates Family Healthcare
Wendy received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019 from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. She is a 1992 graduate of the Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Simmons College in Boston and completed a family nurse practitioner post-master’s program in 1995. She is an adult and family nurse practitioner and the owner of two nurse practitioner-owned and -operated clinics within New Hampshire named Wright & Associates Family Healthcare. Her family practices have won numerous awards, including Top Providers in New Hampshire 2018, Top 20 Fastest Growing Family Business, and Top 20 Women-Owned Business in New Hampshire. In addition, she is the Owner of Partners in Healthcare Education, a medical education company. She is the Past President of NPACE and the Senior lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates. She is the recipient of numerous awards and was chosen by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as the 1999 recipient of the New Hampshire State Excellence Award. In addition, she received the 2009 New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner of the Year and the 2014 Top 5 Women in New Hampshire Business Award. In 2005, she was inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; in October 2014, a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing; and in March 2017, a Fellow into the National Academies of Practice. She is the founder of the New Hampshire Chamber of Entrepreneurial Nurse Practitioners, an organization designed to assist nurse practitioners with independent practice issues. In addition to full-time clinical practice, she presents nationally to different audiences and has been a speaker at over 1,000 conferences in 47 states. She is the nurse practitioner representative to the State of New Hampshire Immunization Advisory Board. She has been a medical media spokesperson for numerous companies and has appeared on radio, television, and in print magazines. Wendy is frequently consulted by malpractice attorneys around the area of clinical practice and has worked on more than 100 malpractice cases involving nurses and nurse practitioners.
"Kelley Mayden graduated from Virginia Highlands Community College with an associate degree in nursing in 1986. Following that, she obtained a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in nursing from East Tennessee State University. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Liberty University in December 2021. Ms. Mayden, oncology/hematology advanced practice provider at Ballad Health Cancer Care, has 37 years of nursing experience, 10 of those as an oncology nurse, and 22 as an oncology/hematology advanced practice provider. She maintains an active practice seeing a variety of patient types. Her interests include breast cancer, benign and malignant hematology, biosimilar integration, quality improvement, and cancer cost containment. Certifications include family nurse practitioner, advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner, chemotherapy & immunotherapy administration, and integrative aromatherapy certification. Ms. Mayden is a charter member of the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO) and is an active member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). Affiliations include Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau. Ms. Mayden serves on the editorial board for the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology and is the former editor of FDA Updates for APSHO Advance. She has numerous peer-reviewed publications, has lectured at the national level, and consulted on an education project for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO University). "
"Aimee Hoch, LSW, OSW-C, FACCC, is a Masters Level Social Worker with 20 plus years of experience in both healthcare and behavioral health. Her practice is focused in oncology specifically addressing financial toxicity. Aimee earned her MSW from Fordham University Lincoln Center and is a licensed social worker. She is a Certified Oncology Social Worker. Aimee is a Financial Navigator for the Cancer Program at Grand View Health where she created and implemented the Financial Navigation program in 2018. She is a consultant for the Cancer Support Community Helpline as a Financial Navigation Specialist. Aimee is an active member of the Association of Cancer Care Center’s (ACCC) Financial Advocacy Network Advisory Committee, Initiatives Task Force, and has been recognized as a Fellow for the organization. She is a member of the Medical Advisory Board at Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Aimee is a member of the Pennsylvania Cancer Coalition and their quality of life and survivorship workgroup. She is also a member of AOSW and AONN+. Aimee was selected for the CancerX Moonshot 2024 Mentor cohort. She speaks about financial toxicity and the role of financial navigation in cancer care."
