My name is Xunli Wang. I am currently enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Endicott College.
As a surgeon in China, I have a strong medical background and extensive medical experience. Trained at West China Hospital of Sichuan University, I specialized in general, thyroid, and breast surgery. After moving to the U.S., I passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK. Currently, I work as an OR nurse as well as a per diem nursing role at a primary office.
I would like to apply my medical background in a primary care setting and gain hands-on experience as an NP student under the guidance of experienced providers. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to talk about this more if it is possible.
