The Minnesota Nurse Practitioners Association is delighted to announce the much-awaited annual fall conference, scheduled to take place this October. This year's event promises to be an enriching experience, offering a platform for knowledge-sharing and professional development.

We extend a warm invitation to all nurse practitioner's to join us for this enriching educational experience. The conference promises to be a valuable opportunity to learn from industry experts, engage in stimulating discussions, and network with fellow professionals.

Doors open at 7:15 for set up. 

Parking and Unloading:

- Free onsite ramp parking is available.

- For dropping off your materials, please pull around to the back of the Wilder Foundation to the loading dock, across from Aldi. Carts will be available to assist with transporting your materials to your table. We kindly ask that you use the carts provided by the center rather than bringing your own.




Registration Refund and Cancellation Policy

Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be received in writing by sending an email to admin@mnnp.org. Cancellation fees are based on the date the written cancellation request is received:

- Cancellations received before September 10, 2024: Full refund minus a $10 processing fee.

- Cancellations received after September 10th: Refund of 50% of registration fees paid.  

- Cancellations received after October 1, 2024: No refunds will be issued.

Substitutions of one attendee for another will be permitted at any time prior to the conference start date of October 4, 2024 with written notification. Substitution requests should be sent to admin@mnnp.org.

No refunds will be given for no-shows. All cancellation/substitution requests must be made in writing via email. We regret that refunds cannot be granted for missed sessions or extenuating circumstances.

The conference organizers reserve the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Please check the website for the most up-to-date information.

    Teddie Potter, PhD, RN, FAAN, FNAP

    Clinical Professor, School of Nursing- University of Minnesota
    Director of Planetary Health, and the Center for Planetary Health and Environmental Justice

    Dr. Potter is deeply committed to climate change and planetary health education. Dr. Potter is the inaugural director of the Center for Planetary Health and Environmental Justice at the School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota and a Fellow in the Institute on the Environment at the University. She is a board member of the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and a member of the American Academy of Nursing Environment and Public Health Expert Panel. She is a member of the Coordinating Committee of Columbia University’s Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education, and the Steering Committee of the Planetary Health Alliance (PHA). She serves on the National Academy of Medicine’s Action Collaborative on Decarbonizing the US Health Sector; the Health and Medicine Division of the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM); and the Climate Crossroads committee of NASEM. Her most recent work is founding with the International Council of Nurses, Nursing for Planetary Health, a global nursing movement.

    Liz Doyle, Senior Consultant, O’Connell Consulting, is a Senior Consultant at O’Connell Consulting and brings over 16 years of experience in organizational leadership and policy advocacy at the local, state and national levels. Her work focuses on partnering with clients to achieve their concrete policy goals while growing their public policy influence for the long term. Prior to her current role at O’Connell Consulting, Liz was the Executive Vice President of Programs at Demos, a national think tank and advocacy organization. Liz has worked on a wide variety of policy issues and brings particular expertise in health care, democracy reform, labor and employment, and economic development. She has a Bachelor of Science from University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Master of Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley. She is a proud Minneapolitan who on the weekend enjoys touring the city’s bakeries via bicycle with her family.
